Why it’s called a “coffin top”
I didn’t include a pic yesterday of the case top. Unfortunately, some one ran strapping tape around case at some point and put something (probably a plant) on the top that left a ring .

Saw somthing very similar when I was a child. If you tie the “what looks like” a red bottle to the Gnome on a long string and put it over the side of a table then as it drops to the floor the Gnome will rock side to side and appear to walk
