A fixer-upper in Leadfield and Titus Canyon road.

February 1, 2007

I snapped this pic in Leadfield, a ghost town in Death Valley. It needs a little work but people have started with less.

Here’s an over view of the town from the pass above it.

It’s on Titus canyon road, which is a very nice drive.

A nice example of mosaic.

Some nice narrows.

And some indian pictographs near a spring.

  1. Nice pics. I had the chance to ride up into the Panamints out of Ballarat. We ended up at Roger’s Pass. The road is pretty hairy. The whole area is honeycombed with played-out gold mines.
